to her home in Griffin to the regret of
her many friends here. She was one
of the strikingly handsome Georgia
women present at the Jubilee festivi*
ties and was the center of admiration
at the Capital City Club ball Wednes*
day evening. She wore a regal toilet
of pale gray satin. The skirt bad its
side panels of pink satin overlaid with
lace; the corsage similarly trimmed.
At the various receptions of Wednes*
day afternoon she had as her distin*
guished escort Secretary Alger, who,
with Colonel Lowry, was an honored
guest at the several brilliant entertain*
meets given that afternoon. Mrs.
Algood will visit New York later,
where her young son is at college.—
