The annual funtaHtic parade will
commence at 10:30 o'clock, Monday
morning,from Haynes livery stable,
and will parade through the princi
pal streets of the city. A handsome

procession. A good hand of music
has been engaged to furnish music
for tiie occasion. All who intend to
take part are requested to meet at
the council room to-night at 7:30

vllle one passenger coach and one
engine accommodated the traffic on
that road. Now that the terminus
of the road has been changed to
Americas, neither one engine nor

Increased traffic. A few days ago
another engine hail to be ordered
for the rood, and yesterday evening
President Harrohl received a tele
gram from Vice-President I.owe at
Buena Vista calling for more pas
senger coaches, as the present
number would not accommo
date the travel. Mr. Harrold
at once telegraphed to Macon
for more conches, - which will
arrive to-day and he put on the
road.' It makes a big difference in
a railroad where H runs to, and
when the B. V. A E. is extended to
Columbus extra trains will have to
be put on to accommodate the In
creased passenger and freight
traffic. Amertsus is tho centre of
attraction, and just so fast as our
railroads reach out into new terri
tory, so fast does the business of
those roads Increase. The B. V. A
E. Is a case in |>oint. When Ub ter
minus was at Audersonville, the
trouble was In gelling enough to
haul; hut now that Its terminus is
at Atnericus the trouble is in haul
ing wliut is offered.

For several weeks the Recorder
