•days since, James Brock, a wealthy
farmer of South Solon, fouud a letter
addressed to his wife by Rev. Mow
bray, pastor of the Baptist church
there. The epistle gave away the infi
delity of the two, and Mrs. Brock woe
sent home to her papa. Brock woe
driving and met the preacher, alao in a
vehicle. A race for life followed, and,
after a four-mile chase, the cowardly
minuter escaped with some bruises in
flicted by stones thrown by ih> farmer.
