Splendid New Building Is Harrold Home Might Be
Proposed. Secured.
Americus Masons who attended the

"that authority to purchase a suitable
site for a new Masonic temple In or
near Macon was grauted by the grand
lodge to the special committee that
■ was named a year ago to look into
the advisability of the building of a
now temple or the remodeling of the
-old one.
This means that within a few years
"the grand lodge will have new quar-
"tcrs in or near Macon.
Although the members of the grand
lodge will not say where the site Is
it is generally understood that a cer
tain place near the city has been pick
ed out and an offer to buy will be
made shortly.
The Masons wish their new temple
•■constructed along the lines of the
most modern architecture and it may
Be built along the lines of a church

the year than the purchase of a suit-

Mr. P. R. Stanfield, who attended
the session with other past masters

been a Mason for sixty-six years and
4s still enjoying good health.
SIIE Dll) NOT EE A It DEATH.
An old lady on her seventy-third
Airthday once said, “I do not mind

“For some time I have been want
ing to tell you of the great good your
■wonderful Sloan's Liniment is doing
bore,” writes Mr. James F. Aber
uothy, of Rutherford College, N. C.
“In fact, all of your remedies are do
ing noble work, but your Liniment
beats all. In my eight years experi-
• --‘nee with medicine I find none to go
ahead of it, having tried it in very
many cases. 1 know of one young
-man, a brick mason, who suffered
-from a partial, yes, almost complete,
: paralysis of one arm. I got him to
•> use your Liniment, and now he can
C do as much work as ever, and he
t'sings your praise every day. 1 get all

--(here is great virtue in it. I have
helped the sale of your noble rem-

■io cause many more to buy them, as
fl know they can't be beat.”

Such Is the suggestion put forth by
officials and friends of that splendid

greatest favor among those with whom
It lias been discussed.
Certainly au Ideal building, ideally
situated.
The property is for salo by the es

Friends of tho hospital arc already
Interested In tho suggestion and are
willing to get to work to that end If
It meets with approval.
The building now occupied for hos
pltal purposes Is only leased, and
this lease will soon expire, and while
it might he renewed, tho friends of
the institution prefer to either Luy
it, or some other property equally con
venient.
And the Harrold mansion meets
every requirement, both in size and
Iiolnt of location.
It Is large and splendidly construct
ed and possesses every modern con

While the matter has only been
suggested thus far, it meets with
