The new quarry at the Xennesaw
is proving to lie good stuff; this
is a large quarry and employs seve
ral men. We are more than glad
that tlifc new- quarry has been
opened.
The Southern lias built a splen
did new mill and is now beginning
to ei’ect an additional to*this.
The Piedmont has been repair
ed with a new' floor; it’s ;t dandy.
Mr. W. L. Phillip’s children are
convalescent. We are very thank
ful.
Mr. Robert Kennimur’s baby is
now very sick with scarlet fever.
We.hope for its speedy recover.
It is truly hoped that no one
will take this dread disease.
The Darnell school is still sus
pended. and the Marble Hill
school is now suspended on the
account of fever.
Mrs. Stephen Griffith is much
improved.
Mrs. ‘•Roy” Dishuroon, who
has been sick for about six months,
is thought to be improving. God
grant her health.
Willie Disharoon has the measles

mumps.
