Wedding
Continued from IB
Best man was Perry Pierce,
father of the groom. Groomsmen
were Nathan Holcomb, brother of
the bride, currently of Burlington;
long-time friend of the bride and
groom, Marshall King of Lamar,
S.C.; and close friend Trey Burns of
Bryson City. The Rev. Clifford
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
to a wonderful daughter
Love,
Your Mother
Parker of Tilley Creek Baptist
Church, Cullowhee, N.C., officiated
the ceremony. The pianist was John
Locust. Special music was provided
by Melton Campbell, Matt Dibler
and The Inspirations Quartet.
Jonathan Brooks, friend of the cou
ple from Loganville, Ga., attended
the guest book.
Celebrating one of Niccole’s
life-time loves, the wedding had an
obvious “Cinderella” air to it. The
Princess Bride’s breath was taken
when a white horse-drawn carriage
arrived to carry her to the ceremony.
A slight limp as she made her way
to the front betrayed the fact that
Niccole had lost her slipper in the
frantic last minute preparations
before the ceremony. As Niccole
and her father neared the wedding
party, there was an audible response
from the crowd and tears fell as
Nathan stepped out with the missing
slipper on a satin pillow.
Fortunately for both, this Prince
Charming’s slipper fit this
Cinderella.
The bride wore a full-length
white satin gown with a train. The
cap sleeves and bodice were
adorned with seed pearls and
sequins. The fingertip-length veil
was attached by a tiara of silver
crystals and pearls. She carried a
bouquet of white roses. The bride’s
attendants wore Cinderella blue
with silver accents and carried white
roses.
The reception was held at
Inspiration Park. Nita Payne, aunt of
the bride, directed the ceremony.
Special thanks for all their hard
work in preparing, arranging and
hosting the wedding to: Dillard
Day, Walter and Linda Wilkes,
Jeanette Munsey, Joann Styles of
the Flower Shop, Joann Barker,
Angie Shook, Vince and Linda
Clark, Shannon Woodring, Ralph
and Rebecca Wise, Pam Burns,
Sandra Moore and Mark Haskett,
photographer.
The bride is a cosmetologist. The
groom works for Singing River
Electric Power Association of
Lucedale.
After a honeymoon at Disney
World in Orlando, FI., the couple
makes their home in Lucedale.
