VFW's Easter Egg
hunt set for March 20

Post 6542 Auxiliary will
host their annual Easter
Egg Hunt this year from
1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday,
March 20.
“Last year was can
celed due to COV1D-19
but we are going for
ward with the event this
year with several safety
precautions in use which
include sanitized eggs,”
said Judy Ingram.
The Easter Egg Hunt
will have three different
age groups with a prize
egg hidden for each
group. The Auxiliary will
serve a light lunch of
pizza and drinks to the
children before the egg
hunt. Children up to 12
years old are welcome to
participate. The Easter
bunny will be there to
visit the children. Photos
with the Easter bunny
will be taken at the par
ents’ discretion.

said Ingram.

Stations of the Cross
An interactive prayer walk, featuring
church and community artists.
Everyone is invited to drop in at the
Barnesville First United Methodist Church
sanctuary (enter on Thomaston Street) for
a time of personal reflection and prayer.
Masks and social distancing will protect participants.
The exhibit and prayer walk are open
March 23-26 and March 30-April 3
