A Letter From Jesus Christ.
Tho following is a copy of s letter,
found 18 miles from locuium, 65 years'
after our blessed Saviour's crucified ion, !
, and transmitted from the Holy City by ;
a couverted Jew; fnithtiilly translated j
! from the original Hebrew copy in the j
possession of some of the descendants i
I of Lay Cuba's family at Mesopotamia. J
This letter was written by Jesus Christ, i
and found under a stone, both round and
large, at the foot of the cross, 18 miles
from Iconiom, near a village called Ales-:
epotumin. Upon that stone was written 1
“Blessed bo lie that shall turn this over."
All the people that saw it prayed to God !
and desii4‘d that He would make known ,
to them the meaniugef this writing, that
they might not attempt in vuiu to turn
it over. In the meantime, there came a'
little child about six or s* vi n ypurs old,
and turned it over, without help, to the
admiration of all the people that saw it; j
aud under this stone was found a letter !
written by Jr.sus Ohiust, signed by the
angel Gabriel, 98 years after otir Sa
viour's birth.
the letter.
Whosoever worketb ou the Suhbutli

go to Church, aud keep the Sabbath day
holy, witbont doing auy mauuer of work.
You shall not break my commandments,
but observe and keep them; write them
iu your hearts, and steadfastly observe
that this was written with my own baud
aud spoken with my owu mouth. You
shall not only go to church yourselves,
but also your men servauts and maid
servants, nud o!w*ervo my words and learn
my commandments; you shall Suish your
labor every Saturday iu the afternoon,

you to fast five Fridays iu each year, be
riuuing with Good Friday, and con

rounds I received for all mankind.
100. shall diligently and peacefully labor

love odo another with brotherly love,
and cause those that are uot baptized to
come to Church and take the Loly sacra

iug I will give you long life aDd many \
blessings, ami your land shall be replen- | (
ished and bring forth abundance. I will j
give you many blessings, and comfort ;
you iu the greatest temptations; and
surely he that doeth to the contrurv shall
be cursed and unprofitable. I will also i
send hardness of heart upon them until j
I have destroyed them, slid especially
upon the hardened and impenitent un
believers.
He that hath giveu to tho poor shall
not be unprofitable. Remember to keep ;
holy the Sabbath day, for the seveutii j
day I have taken to myself. He that j
hath a copy of this letter, which I have '•
written with my owu hand, and keepeth
it without publishing it to others, shall
not prosper; but he that publishes it to
others, shall be blessed of me, and
though his sins be in number os the
stars in tho sky, if ho believes, his sins
shall be pardoned; aud if ho believes not
in this my writing uud commandments,
l will send my plagues upon him and
his children aud his cuttle. And whoso
ever shall have a copy of tills letter iu
his house, nothing shall hurt him; —
neither pestilence, lightning, thunder;
