Judge Marcus is again visiting Mr.
Dawson’s.
Mr, A. P. Odoru’s school near this
place, closed last Friday. Ho gave sat
isfaction so far as I know. I could not at
tend on the last dev, to see how the pu
pils stood the examination.
I feel much iudebted to Miskpr Dora
and Eddie Gillis tor a sack of the largest
and nicest pomegranates I ever saw.
The fair donors will please accept many
thanks.
Mrs. Mary Gillis, wifo of Angus
Gillis, and dnogliter of Mrs. Chance, died ;
at the home of her mot Iter on the 24th j
October, after a long and painful illness.
We hope she is done with puin and strife, i
