KEEP IN TOUCH WITH I
COUNTY AGENT TYRE
County Agent Tyre of Montgomery
county has been receiving inquiries
about thoroughbred poultry from peo
ple in digerent sections of the state
and the demand for thoroughbred
stock is pretty strong. Parties having
genuine stock, of whatever breed
should communicate with Mr. Tyre
if they wish to place their chickens j
on the market. The calls include most
of the popular breeds, but nothing
but purebred* will find rer.dy sale
through this channel. Thus it is
clear that purebred varieties or breeds
will always find more ready sale than
scrub stock. These inquiries come
through regular departmental channels
and Mr. Tyre will he glad to handle
any matter of this nature referred to
him.
Mr. Tyre also calls the attention
of the farmers and stock raisers of
the conntv to the importance of list
ing with him such cows and hogs as
wit! he in proper condition for fall
co-operative sales. At present he is
not at liberty to announce definite
dates for row and hoo- sales,, hut it
is quite sure that a number will he
held a few weeks later. Os the sales
held in Montgomery county under Mr
Tyre’s direction all have been consid
ered very successful, in the light of
prevailing conditions, and no doubt
there will be put on the market from
this countv a laroe number of hogs
and cows during the fall and winter.

THE MONTGOMERY MONITOR
PARENT-TEACHER ASSO.
ORGANIZED AT SOPERTON
• —————
On last Friday evening at the school
auditorium a most enthusiastic parent
teacher association was organized with
a large number of parents and friends
in attendance. Following a delight
ful program by the faculty, Mrs. John
1 W. Poe of Vidalia, vice-president of
' the P. T. A. of the Twelfth District,
' made an illuminating address explain
' ing the work of the association.
Mrs. Poe, is vividly interested in
children and her luminous mind and
. charming manner make a combination
sufficiently fascinating in itself, and!
when further blended with her unaf
fectcd love for children, the result is
erresistjble.
At the close of Mrs. Poe’s talk,
meeting and permanent organization
was completed.—Soperton News.
DIZZINESS IS ANNOYING.
AS MANY VVIDAUA POPLE TOO
WELL KNOW.
When the kidneys are weak or dis
ordered they fall behind in filtering
the blood of poisons. As these pois
ons attack the nerves, the result is
felt in spells of vertigo, just as drunk
enness will make a man dizzy irom
the poisoning of alcohol. Dizziness,
headache, backache and irregularity of
the kidney secretions are all signs of
weak or disordered kidneys and should
not be neglected. Use Doan’s Kidney
Pills, the home-endorsed kidney rem
edy. Read this Vidalia resident’s tes
timony.
Mrs. B. F. Eckles, 207 Mclntosh
street, says: “I had a slight attack of
kidney trouble. My back was sore
and lame and at times I would find
it hard to bend over because the pains
in niv hark were so severe. I would
also he troubled with dizzy headaches
and black specks appeared before my
’ eyes, blurring my sight. I read of
Doan’s Kidney Pills and began to take
them- After taking four boxes I was
completely cured and have never had
any trouble since.”
