Two Carloads Hogs Go To
Moultrie Packing House.
Pine Park, Ga, Feb. 16—Don’f
and draw conclusions too fast
about our town because all the
things that occur here are not
bad by any means.
For instance, tho two car
loads of hogs that leave here to
day demonstrates the fact that
the farmers in our community
are keeping right up with the
times and are educating them
selves in farming and stock rais
ing.
This shipment of hogs came
off of one farm and were all rais
ed on the place of Mr. T. M.
Chastain. And this is not all be
raised for he 'has saved enough
to run his fifteen horse farm.
Another thing some of the far
mers around here are raising-a
good horse every year and those
the writer has seen are as good
as any of the shipped product; In
fact, we believe they are mueh
better. They are raistd with
out little extra cost and the mar
es are worked right along, with
but little loss of time. Beats
buying ’em.
