Many LiUles Make a Much.
How would vou like to sit
down at your desk, run over your
accounts and absorb the knowl
edge that anywhere from one to
more than a thousand people were
indebted to you in sums varying
from 50 cents to $5.00?
Arid would you like to meet
these good people day by day
without their offering you the
small amount due you?
And how would you like to see
these same good people paying
their other bills promptly* month
Brown and Dorsey to Run.
The unofficial announcement
that ex-governor Jos. M. Brown
is to make the race for U. S. sen
ate against Thos. W. Hardwick,
when that statesman’s term ex
pires in 1919, has occasioned more
than usual gossip the past few
days amongst the politicians.
It is rather a long time ahead
to announce, but Mr. Brotvn’s
friends say he has made bp his
mind and is willing for everybody
to know he is in the race
Hugh M. Dorsev, solicitor of
by month and again forgetting p u n on superior court, is doped
yours?
And wouldn’t you revel in the
knowledge that all these small
amounts combined, if suddenly
collected up, would swell your
bank account to the tune of two
to three thousand dollars.
When you reach the point where
you can appreciate the grim hu
mor of such a condition, and
keep right on smiling, you will
hr,ve qualified yourself for the
life of a country editor.
And when you do reach that
point you will wonder why in the
blazes you never thought of the
editor when paying your other
bills, and you will lose no time
reaching his shop and hand him
thnt little mite you owe him.
Here’s hoping you soon qualify

money every day.
