Park. The damage recently done
by the heavy rains will soon be
fully overcome.
I must respectfully urge every
citizen in Cairo to join in cleaning
up t he city on Tuesday, August
8th. Every one is urged to join
the officials in cleaning up the city,
by cutting weeds about premises,
and removing or destroying all
trash, weeds and rubbish of every
s art that might cause sickness.
Also all empty cans or other ves
sels that might contain water arid
breed mosquitoes should be re
moved, and kerosene, lime and
other disinfectants should be freely
used to destroy insects and prevent
diseases.
