Mr. Spedon’s Lecture.
Only a medium sized audi
ence greeted Mr. Spedon at the
academy Saturday night when
he delivered one of his inter
esting as well as instructive
lectures. The fact of its being
Saturday night is undoubtedly
what caused the attendance to
be light. The lecture feature
of the program was not so good
but Mr. Spedon proved him
self an artist in sketching and
caricaturing and kept liD au
dience in pleasant anticipation
of his next move. All things
considered the entertainment
was fairly good.
