best i iii-ig she cou.d have possibly
done at this moment. It was
that brought to her side a conduc
tor, a travelers’ aid ageut, a train
caller and a policeman. They hII
wanted to quit work and hear her
story, aud the policeman was per¬
fectly willing had^itr 10 lend her every
cent he his pocket.
And this is 'the story that the
little girl told “My name is Frankie
May Soilless and I’m nine years
old and mania put me on the train
in Dallis, Tex., Friday and told
me to be good, and to behave and
that grandfather would meet me
iu Atlanta. Now I can’t find
grandfather anywhere.”
The little Texas ladv told the
travelers’ aid agent that her grand
faher was a very old man and
lived with her grandmother some¬
where near Ellijay. Frankie May
stopped crying when the travelers’
aid agent, promised to tind grand
father, to see that she didn’t have
any further trouble and even to
buy her a ticket to Ellijay if
necessary.—Atlanta Journal
