tral has contracted for 2,800,000 tons
of coal for company use during the
next Baca] year. Awards were made

message to the general assembly urg

increase the tax on fertilizer 18 cents
per ton. The farmers would have bad
to pay every cent of this tax. It Is
true that the legislature did not pass
the bill, but Hokey did bis best to
get them to do so. That Is the kind
of friend Hokey Is to the farmers.

Pensacola, Fla.. May 13.—An East
Hill car waa wrecked last night by a
stick of dynamite watch was placed
on the track. It la thought, by strike
