at home in the chair, and In his

various speakers, who entertained
the meeting with talks, grave and
gay. The meeting was quite lnfor-
mat in character and much enjoyed
by all. TEe very representative and
cosmopolitan character of the gath
crlng was emphasized by the faot
that among file speakers were rep-
resented the Irish, Scotch, English,
Welsh, French, Seminole, Dutch, Am
ericans and Spanlhs nations. Nine
southern states had speakers present

C G. Lewis and J. R. Creanier. They
fully sustained the reputation of
Waycross for hospitality and provid
ed for the guests a luxuriant repast,
which wia duty appreciated.
