The Commissioners ot Roada had
Revenue, for the County of Ware In
vite bids for the construction and
erection of a modern fall and jailors
home, the building thereof to be con
structed either of brlok or reinforced
ooncrete, according to the plans and
specifications now on Slain the MB-
ees'of aid Commissioners.
The terms of payment to be made
as follows: One . half (1-2)' ot the
contract price to be paid as the work
progresses, (be remaining one half
(1-2) to be paid twelve (12) monthb
from - the completion and acceptance
of same, and the deferred payment
to bear Interest at the rate of six per
centtum per annum.
A certified check for Twenty Five
Dollars (f2S) will be required to be
made payable to and deposited with
E. J. Berry, Clerk ot the Commis
sioners, from all prospective bidders
who obtain a copy ot the plans and
specifications, the same to be return
ed upon the return of the plans and
specifications.
A certified check made payable to
K J. Berry, the Clerk of said Commie
sloners for Twenty Five Hundred Dol
lar, (22.500.00) must accompany each
bid, before the same will be conida-
ered, and to all unsuccessful bidders,
the same will be returned. The cheek
of the successful bidder will be re
tained by the Commissioners ustll
such bidder has made a good and
sufficient bond with approved secvrl-
ty, guaranteeing the completion ot
the contract In the terms of his it<L
Upon bis failure to comply with this
requirement as to giving bond within
ten days after the awarding of the
contract, the same win be forfeited
to the county. *
Bids will be received up to noon
of April 20th, 1911, at which time the
same will be opened and considered
by said Commislsoners, with the
right reserved to reject any and aF
bids.
It Is contemplated that this tor-
tract will exceed the sum of II,e
