An informal legal document was
toad last night from Col. C, L. Red
ding, as attorney for L. D. Hickox,
farmer, living some 5 or 6 miles
from town, claiming heavy damages
for harm sustained by some 46 .head
of cattle that were impounded during
last few days. The* document went
into most elaborate details of the
damages sustained and as some* one
suggested, the only thing overlooked
was * a photograph of each cow for
Inspection and identification. The
claimant asked for damages amount
ing to $553.00. The matter Was re
ferred to Police Committee and at
torney for preliminary investigation.
