SHOT WIFE
IN HIS DREAM
Chicago, Feb. 11.—Dreaming
that he wag engaged in a game of
dice and that there was a free-for-
all fight, Albert Allen, aged 35,
seized a revolver lying under his
pillow today and fired six shots.
One of the bullets tsriick bis wife
in the left cheek. She awoke with
a scream, but her husband, still
bolding the revolver, slept on.
Policemen attracted by the shots
found Mrs. Allen in a semi-con
and Jesup, also arrived this af
ternoon. This afternoon’s meet
ing started at three o’clock. At
the morning meeting a general
discussion proved of much inter
est. Talks by Bev. J. P. Wardlaw
and Bev. W. J. Ballew were ap
preciated very much.
Tonight the convention meets
at seven thirty. The hours for
Friday’s meetings will be the
same as today. Everyone is invit
ed to attend.
