The work to be done consists of
furnishing all materials, equipment
and labor for the construction labor

Removal, dewatering and desposal
of approximately 65 dried tons of
sludge from the City treatment
pond, including all appurtenances to
complete work and clean up. Sludge
must be disposed of in a municipal
solid waste landfill. Division One:

Time allotted for construction is
60 consecutive calendar days for
substantial completion and 90 days
for final completion for Division One

IF CDBG: This is a Section 3 Cov

Business Concerns are encouraged
to apply. The OWNER is committed
to providing all persons with equal
access to its services, programs, ac
tivities, education, and employment

IF SRF: The project is proposed to
be funded with a State Revolving
Fund loan. All SRF and American
Iron and Steel Special Conditions
requirements apply.
IF ARPA SFRF WATER SEWER
INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT: The
work to be performed under this
contract is partially funded with fed
eral funds from the State Fiscal Re
covery Fund (SFRF) Water Sewer
Infrastructure Grants established
via the American Rescue Plan Act
of 2021 and therefore is subject to
federal laws and regulations associ
ated with that program.
All proposals shall be accompanied
by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the
City of Sardis, Georgia OWNER, in
the amount of at least 10% of the
lump sum bid for the complete work;
such Bid Bond representing that the
Bidder, if awarded the contract, will
promptly enter into a contract and
furnish Performance Bond and Pay
ment Bond as provided by law and
approved by the Attorney for the City
of Sardis, GeorgiaOWNER. Each
bond shall be equal to 100% of the
contract amount. The Bid Bond shall
be forfeited to the City of Sardis,
Georgia OWNER as liquidated dam
ages if the Bidder fails to execute the
contract and provide Performance
and Payment Bonds within 10 days
after being notified that he has been
awarded the contract.
