The protracted meeting at the
Methodist church closed last Sun
day night. There was only one
accession, but the church was
somewhat revived.
There are something like sixty
criminal cases on the docket ready
for trial at the approaching term
of our court. This looks like
crime is on the increase in this
county.
Next week is court week, and
while here we would be glad to
have you call around at the Mon
itor office and make yourself at
home. We are still doing business
at the same old place and will be
glad to see you.
