The MONEY LOANED
by The Federal Land Bank to far
mers at this, time is a great help to
them, both because of the low rate
of interest, and the long term.
SIO.OO per thousand on the principal
i.s all that is required to be paid by
the farmer each year, and this with
compound interest pays the debt in
about 30 years. The initallment on
the debt and the interest amounts
to only G 1-2 per cent, iw annum,
which is sls ner thousand cheaper
than 8 per cent money, and $lO with
interest is paid on the debt beside.
The most desirable feature about
these loans is due to the Diet that
the borrower practically make-; his
own terms. He can never be re
quired to pay more than the 0, 1-2
per cent per year, and yet he has
the right to pay more if he wants to,
and may pay it all after fi 'e years.
Np ine need hesifate to borrow on
these terms for the installments can
never be heavy, and the principal
?um can never be demanded, as the
E.mall amirti/ation payments liqui
date the principal . Whenever pay
ment is made, credit is given for all
payments with interest.
See me if you need money on your
farm.
Clarence E. Adams,
Secretary- Treasurer.
