Local Kiwanians who attended the
i District Convention in Macon last
f week report a splendid gathering and
delightful entertainment by the Ma
con Club. Savannah was selected for
t next year’s convention. One of the
! important decisions of the gathering
was to build the Georgia bay at Val
ley Forge, our state being the only
one of the original thirteen states
* that had not completed ther bay
1 at this historic shrine, he money for

SAVANNAH PRESBYTERY
MEETS AT AIMWELL CHURCH
The* fall session of the Savannah
Presbytery is in session this week at
the Aimwell Prebyterian church, one
of the strong country churches of the
association. The first meeting was
held Tuesday night and the Presby
tery will be in-Session through Thurs
day.
The gathering brings together
some twenty-five or thirty prominent
ministers and laymen of this section.
