The New Year,
With its responsibilities and demands
is upon us. How we improve the
shining moments, how we grasp the
tide as it bears in upon us, is a matter
for us to determine. Resolutions as
to what we will do amount to but little
jf we do not put into exercise tire will
and power to accomplish. Action is
the key that unlocks the golden
gates of success, and gives us free ac
cess to the various possibilities that lie
out over its extended domain.
Wc should as a people, be careful to
apply ourselves in a proper way to the
solution and mastery of those prob
lems that concern us personally and
materially. What we attempt, wheth
er in the field or any other opening for
enterprise, should be done up to such
a System as will insure good results.
Whatever is to he done is worth doing
well. No work should be slighted ;
but strict attention paid to the details
of any business that engages us.
With the new year old mistake*
and errors ol management should
be corrected! and wen re indeed
worse tliaii obtusj if wo do not prof
it by past experience. Let us try
