Our community has been dooply sad-
denod by the death of Miss Myra Sewell,
which occurred Monday night, after an
illness of three weeks with typhoid fever.
Miss Sewell is survived by her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sewell, and one
sister, Miss Ida Sue Sewell, who is also
critically ill with fever.
Misses Elisabeth Barnett and Louise
Smith, of Atlantn, are visiting Mrs. W,

PETITION FOR. RENEWAL OF
CHARTER.
GEORGIA—Coweta County.
To the Superior Court bt said county:
The petition of W. S. Askew Com
pany allows—
1. That It Is a corporation Of said
county.
2. That It was Incorporated by an or
der and judgment bf this honorable
Court on tho 3d day’ of Ssptember,
1901, as appears from the minutes of
said Court, Book G, page 158, to which
order apd judgment petitioner asks
leave to refer and exhibit to the Court
as often as may be necessary.
3. That petitioner, was incorporated
under said Judgment for a period of
twenty years, with the .privilege of
renewal at the expiration thereof.
4. That the charter granted to peti
tioner w.iu expire on September 2, 1921
6. That at a meeting of the stock
holders of petitioner, held .at the com-
f nny's office on the 29th day of July,
921, a resolution was adopted and duly
entered on the minutes authorizing
tho board of directors to take such
steps as may be required by law to
renew said charter* for a period of
twenty years, with the privilege of
renewal; and the board of directors, at

6. Wherefore, petitioner prays that
after publication as required by law,
an order and Judgment of this Court
be granted renewing Its charter for a
period of twenty years from and after
September 2, 1921, with the privilege of
renewal at the expiration thereof.
