There will be sold before tin* court
house door in Irwinton, Wilkins >n
County, Georgia, between the legal
hours of sale, to the highest and best
bidder for cash, on the first Tuesday in
November, 1946. the followingdescribed
property, to wit:
All that tract or parcel of lanu situate,
lying and being in the Third Land
District and the 330th G. M. District of
Wilkinson County, Georgia, containing
358.412 acres, more or less, and being
bounded as, follows; Northeast by the
public road leading from Toomsboro to
Stephensville, anil by the lands of.L
A. Dixon and by lands of the Hall Es
tate; Northwest by the lands of Mrs. S.
M. Dixon estate, and by the lands of
Joe Kemp; Southeast by the lands of
T. A. Moseley; Southwest by the lands
of the Doss Smith estate. Said lands be
ing known as the John A. Dixon Home
Place, and being all the land or all the
remainder of the lands owned by John
A. Dixon at the time of his death, ex
cept that which was divided between
the heirs at law and sold by the admin
istrators as shown by the records in
the Ordinary’s office of said State and
County in Minute Book 5 pages 436,7,
8,9. Said lands being more particularly
described in a plat made of same by B.
B. Asbell. County Surveyor, which plat
is of record in the office of the Clerk of
the Superior Court of Wilkinson Coun
ty, Georgia, in Book of Plats N 0.2 page
36, said lands bein' 11 - designated on said
plat as lands of John A. Dixon estate.
Said lands will be sold under and by
virtue of an order of R. Earl Camp,
Judge of the Superior Court of Dublin
■Circuit, presiding in the place of Geo. |
S. Carpenter, who was disqualified, in
the matter of the partition proceedings
brought by J. C. Dixon et. al., in the
Superior Court of Wilkinson County,
Georgia.
Said sale will be subject to confirm
ation by the Court, and the purchaser
at said sale wiU be required to deposit
the amount of his bid with the registry
of the Court.

bidder for cash, on the First Tuesday
in November, 1946, the following des
cribed property, to^wit:
. All that tract or parcel of land situ
ate, lying and being in the Third Land
District and the 330th G.M. District of
Wilkinson County, Georgia, containing
92.192 acres, more or less, and being
bounded as follows; Northwest by lands
of B. 0. Bates; Southwest by lards of
L. A. Dixon; Southeast bv the public
road leading from Toomsboro to Steph
ensville; Northeast by the public road
leading from Toomsboro to Stephens,
ville.
Also all that tract or parcel of land
situate, lying and being in the Third
Land District and the 330th G. M. Dis
trict of Wilkinson County, Georgia,
containing 5.016 acres, more or less,
and being bounded as follows: North
east by the Toomsboro - Stephensville
public road; Southeast by the lands of
the John A. Dixon estate; Northwest
and Southwest by the lands of Bartley
Freeman.
Also, all that tract or parcel of land
situate, lying and being in the Third
, Land District and the 330th G. M. Dis
■ trict of Wilkinson County, Georgia,
containing 29 01 acres, more or le»s, be
ing bounded as follows; Northeast by
the lands of the estate of John A. Dix
on; Southeast by lands of the estate of
John A. Dixon; Northwest by the
lands of the estate of John A. Dixon;
Southwest by the lands of Joe Kemp or
| the Doss Smith estate.
Said three parcels of land being the
same lands conveyed by Mrs. S. M.
Dixon to J. R. Dixon by deed of record
in Book 41 page 154, and conveyed by
J. R. Dixon to Mrs. S. M. Dixon
by deed of record in ’Book 41 page 443,
and being conveyed by Mrs. S. M.
Dixoft to William ' R. Dixon
by deed of record in Book 46 page 70,
which deed was canceled by order of
the Superior Court of Wilkinson County
Georgia, at the April Term 1932, of the
Superior Court, asshown by the Min
utes of said Coutt, Minutesof 1926,
page 300.
Said three parcels of land being more
particularly shown and delineated on a
plat of same made by B. B. Asbell
County Surveyor, which plat is of re
cord in the office of the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Wilkinson County,
Georgia, in Book of Plats no. 2 page
36, and on said plat the lands are des
j ignated as the lands of Mrs. S. M. Dix
on.
Said lands will be sold under and by
