and much to hope for in the prospect of
legislation.
Some leading Chicago houses state
that the purchasing power of the farm

That there has been a gradual but
certain improvement in business gen
erally in the last six months of the year
is generally agreed in the business
world. Tho national election of Nov, 8
disappointed enthusiasts who expeoted
an immediate resumption of unparallal-
ed activity that existed in the first six
or eight months of 1907. But to the
moro sober minds among the leaders of
industry a boom peried is not desirable.
ALWAYS KEEP A,BOTTLE IN
THE HOUSE
“About ten davs before Christmas I
got my hand hurt bo badly that 1 had to
stop work right in the busy time of the
year,” says Mr. Milton Wheeler, 2100
Morris Ave., Birmingham, Ala. “At
first I thought I would have to have
my hand taken off, but someone told me
to get a bottle of Sloan's Liniment and
that would do the work. The Liniment
cured my hand and 1 gladly recommend
it to everyone.”
Mr. J. E. Matthews, proprietor of
St, James Hotel, Coming, Ark., says:
"My finger was greatly inflamed from
a fish sting and doctors pronounced it
blood poising. I used severs' applica
tions of Sloan’s Liniment and it cure
me all right. 1 will always keep a b' t
tie of Sloan’s Liniment, in my house.
Mr. J P. Evans of Mt. Airy, G-
says—“After being afflicted for th
years with rneuma ,-in, used Sloas. ,

If you suffer from backache,
There is only one way to cure it.
The perfect way is to cure the kid
neys,
A bad hack means sick kidneys,
Neglect it, urinary troubles follow.
Doan’B Kidney Pills are made for
kidneys only.

J. R. Duke,’ 311 N. Jefferson St.,
Milledgevilie, Ga., says: “I
been using Doan's Kidney Pills for a
few weeks and have received more
benefit from them than from any other
kidney remedy, I have ever tried. I
suffered from kidney trouble for' some
time and my back ached severely. The
kidney secretions were irregular in
passage and cause me much annoyance.
I finally procured Doan’s Kidnev Pills
at Geo. D. Case’s drug store and began
using theih. Since that time I hare
been steadily improving and take plea
sure in recommending Doan's Kidney
Pills to other.”
