Woman's Beauty
Some women retain tlieir beauty to an advanced I
[ age. But women, who regularly endure pain, age
rapidly, for guttering leaves its lasting marks on
I them.
Nearly all women suffer more or less with some
form of female trouble. It should not be neglected.
I Avoid the pain—treat yourself at home by taking
| Cardui, as thousands of other women have done. ]
Begin at once and give Cardui a fair trial.

Man comes of good, not of evil. A few
days ago I was looking through a col-
lest ion of ancient legends, and rend with
delight some that d«al Just with that
point.
There Hre thoughts of striking depth
expressed with extraordinary simplicity
and artlessness in those legends. Here is
one of them, which I shall of course have
to tell in my own way:
The Lord thought of a new creature
a combination of heaven and earth.
"Po not create him,” said the angel ot
truth, sternly. “He will defile Thy tem
ple. and will glorify fraud on earth; temp
tations will hold sway everywhere."
"1M not create him," prayed the nngei
of justice. "He will he cruel, hurling
everyone, and loving only himself. He
will 1 e deaf to the sufferings of others,
and the wt oping of the oppressed will
not reach his heart."
"He will steep the earth In blood,"
added the angel of pence, "and murder
will become his occupation. Terrors of
devastation will seise the land, and the
fear of violent death will enter every
soul."
And the
atonane
of the All-Upheld-
became overcast. The marvelous com
at Ion of heaven and earth seemed
an ami evil to the Ruler, and in His
rnaj fore-will a decision was ripening:
tut now before the throne of the Life,
er appeared ills youngest and best-
rived child. Mercy, She embraced the
es of the Father and begged:
Create him! When all Thy servants
vc him. 1 will find him. help him,
1 change even his shortcomings intc
m1. I will guard him that he should
w h!s heart towards sympathy, and
stray from the path of truth. 1 will
1 lea eh him to show mercy to the
ikesi!"
md the face of the All-Upholder be-
lie radiant \*ltL blessedness. The mar-
i*us combination of heaven and earth
in* Into being, and took Ills form and
i likeness.
Live!" breathed on him the All-Up-
il« r. “ami know that you are the child
Mi toy."
