Below is an outline of the pro
gram as projected by the National
Education Association, United
States Rurean of Education and
American Legion. At 10:55 chap
el hour, every d;iy beginning Mon
day, Nov. 1G. and extending thru
Friday. Nov. 22, appropriate ex
ercises, as yiven below, will be
observed. Everybody is invited
to be present. Come and help us
to make our schools as good as
any in the state.

Mrs. John L. Hodges gave an
account of the stormy sessions of j
I the last day, aud also of the beau
tiful pageants and Miss Mildred
Rutherford's lecture given on the
last night.
Mrs, Hodges complimented Mr?'.
Grace, tue State president, for her
impartial manner aud her wonder
ful composure during the con
troversy concerning the Stone
Mountain Memorial question.
After an impartial report, Mrs.
Hodges made au urgent plea for
the Stone Mouutain Memorial.
She made a motion that the
Sergeant Clinton Duucau Chapter
endorse the sale of the memorial
coins aijd instruct their secretary
to write the president of the Stone
Mountain Association pledging
their support to the association.
The motion received a second from
Mrs. R. L. Cater, and it was
unanimously carried.
At the conclusion of the pro
grain an enjoyable social hour was
had. The hostess was assisted ?n
entertaining by Mrs S. 1<. Nor
wood. Jr., Mrs. Larey Andrew,
and Mrs. Tom Cater.

Mr. Miller declared that his
company was much behind iu tiiil

building cement haa recently out
grown the capacity of original
plant.
"'Construction of the new pro
duction uuit,' he said, "would re
quire most of the winter, and it
will not be ready for operation be
fore \pril 1." ''Operation of the
enlarged plant will require very
little additional labor,"Mr. Miller
stated.

BURIAL IN PERRY FOR FIRE VICTIM
The body of Warren W. Moore,
38, of Lawrenceville, Ga? burned
to death eaily last Weduesday in
the fire which almost completely
destroyed the CccA-Cola Bottling
Company plant, Atlanta was
brought here Friday for funeral
service and interment.
Funeral services were conducted
at the home of Vlr, W. J. Short
Saturday morning, Kev. W. K.
Dennis of the Methodist Church
officiating. Interment was at Ever
green cemetery.
The deceased k?ve? his fother,
J. W- Moore, ami two aunts, Mrs.
W. K. Pierce, of Perry, and Mrs.
W. H, Joiner, of Atlanta.
