We are very glad to welcome
two additions to our faculty. They
are Mrs. Clinton Duncan of the
Sixth Gr;?de and Mrs. Coleman of
the High Scool.
Miss Anderson of the State
Board of Health is here to orga
nize a Little Mother's League
among the girls of the 7th, 8th, 9th,
10th, and 11th grades. She will be
here about two months.
Mrs. Jeter a state office of the
U. ?>. C. and also of the P. T. A.,
read for the Lanier Society at
their meeting Wednesday.
Perry added another victory to
her string by defeating Pinehurst
Tuesday. The score was 33 to 12.
Let's all go over to Montezuma
Friday night and give the team
our support when they "do their
stuff" against the strong Monte
zuma quintet.
The announcement of Rev. W.
H. Lord's death was a shock to
many of his friends hore and
throughout Georgia. He was pastor
of the Perry Baptist Church and
also County School Superintend
ent, The school extends its sympa
thy to the members of his family.

interesting paper on Lee as a Man

equally interesting paper on Jack
son as a Soldier.
Lee's favorite song, "How Firm
a Foundation" was sung.
The attendance was excellent for
a rainy afternoon, there being
sixteen present.

Just as we are about to go to
prew, we are informed of the death
of Mr. O. M. Houser. which oc
curred at his home in Fort Valley
this afternoon. He has many
frieodg and relatives here who will
regret to learn of his death.
