honored Miss Judy Trice
with a bridal shower-tea at
the home of Mrs. Langston
Thursday evening July Ist.
The guests were greeted at
the door by Misses Carolyn
and Sherry Thames who
were hostesses tor this
lovely occasion.
Twenty-eight guests
enjoyed visiting with the
bride-to-be and admiring
her lovely and useful gifts.
Delicious refreshments of
fruit punch, tiny sand
wiches of chicken salad
and pinento-cheese, nuts
and small cakes were
served from a lovely table
adorned with a lovely
arrangement of summer
flowers.
Mrs. Florene Davis of
Sasser, Ga. visited Mr. and
Mrs. Warren B. Hodge over the weekend.

Baptist Church of Perry, held a special July 4,
Bicentennial celebration last Sunday, with many
HOUSTON HOME JOURNAL THURS., JULY I, 1974,
members of the congregation dressing in old
fashioned dress made especially for the day. The
Rev. Tom Harmon is pastor of the church.
