reported that 121 traffic
citations were issued last
month with speeders and
DU I cases leading the
list.
Speeders accounted for
43 citations, and DU I
tickets were issued to 23.
Eight persons were
cited for disregarding
traffic signs and signals;
seven were nabbed for
driving without a license
and five tickets were
issued to persons driving
on the wrong side of the
road.
Inspection sticker
violations and driving
with a revoked or
suspended license netted
four citations In each
category. Improper tag
and public drunkeness
cases amounted to three
tickets in each category.

Perry police nabbed
two men and a woman
from Macon last week
after the trio was caught
trying to rob a clothing
store near the in
tersection of 1-75 and Sam
Nunn Blvd.
Robert Lee Baxter, 22,
of 758 Tindall Heights,
Macon, and Patricia
Ann Ryans, 20, of 1581
Cedar Ave., Macon, were
each charged with one
count of burglary for
breaking into the Vogue
International store.
Charles W. Thomas, of
454 Forest Ave., Apt. 1,
Macon, was charged with

bond set at $4,000. The
woman was released on
SI,OOO bond, but Baxter is
also in county jail with
bond set at $2,500.
