4:00 p.m. Local Time on
December 2, 1980, for the
construction of: Addition to
Perry Elementary School,
Perry, Georgia; Addition to
Tucker Elementary School,
Perry, Georgia; and Addition
to Centerville Elementary
School, Centerville, Georgia.
At the time and place noted
above, the proposals will be
publicly opened and read.
Bidding documents may be
obtained at the office of the
Architect, Henry A. Corsini,
Architect, Inc., 1065 Third
Street, Macon, Georgia. Ap
plications for documents
together with deposit of SIOO.OO
per set should be filed prompt
ly with the Architect, Bidding
documents will be forwarded,
shipping charges collect, as
soon as possible. The full
amount of deposit for one set
will be refunded to each
general contractor who sub
mits a bona fide bid upon
return of such set in good
condition within thirty (30)
days after date of opening of
bids. All other deposits will be
refunded with deductions of
$60.00 for cost of reproduction
of documents upon return of
same in good condition within
thirty (30) days after date of
opening of bids.
Contract, if awarded, will be
on a lump sum basis. No bid
may be withdrawn for a period
of thirty-five (35) days after
time has been called on the
date of opening. Bids must be
accompanied by a bid bond in
the amount not less than five
percent (5 percent) of the base
bid. Both a Performance and
Payment Bond will be
required in an amount equal to
100 percent of the contract
price.
The Owner reserves the
right to reject any or all bids
and to waive technicalities and
informalities.
