MORTGAGE
RATES ARE

Across ihe country, mortgage costs have
fallen, ami the rate-watchers who wondered if
we'd ever get below the double digits arc now
cheering. Fixed rate loans arc so affordable
that most buyers won't even consider the
adjustable-rate loans that were so important a
few short years ago.
How docs this affect the homeowner?
Well, if you're planning to stay in your house
for a long lime, you might want to consider
refinancing a more expensive mortgage. It
takes a few years to pay back the initial cost,
so you'll want to do the arithmetic.
Hut if you've considered selling, now's a
good lime. There are home buyers out there,
cheered by affordable mortgage money, who
are now able to buy the home they've always
wanted. In long, qualifying interviews, they've
told us just what they're looking for. It's our
job to match up eager home buyers with the
properties that meet lhcirneeds. Some buyers
are looking for a home like yours.
