One of the best popular priced enter
tainments ever seen in Gainesville was
greeted by a large house last Monday
night. The play was -‘Hearts of Gold,”
a character study of life in the far
west, and was ably interpreted by a
clever aggregation of players. The
dressing of the play was exceptionally
fiioe: none better haseyer been seen on
the local stage; The company is head
ed by Ferdinand Graham and Lillian
Dean, both actors far above the aver
age, their vaudeville doub.eturns being
clever up-to-date and highly appreci
ated by the audience.
Jack Goodwin and Flora Nelson were
also seen to advantage m their respec
tive rolls: tbe above four combining to
make a quartet of enter tain ers^hard to
excel.
The vaudeville portion of the show is
an entertainment in itself well worth
the price of admission charged. Baby
Edna heads the list, and is without
doubt the most accomplished child str-
tis it has ever been our good fortune to
see.
Tuesday night’s ofiering was “A Man
of Mystery;”which though seen here
last season was presented in such a
clever manner as*to render it a virtu
ally a new entertainment.
Tonight the play is “ A Man of Hon
or,” with six new vaudeville numbers
introduced between acts.

opposition . What a record compared
with that of Col. Tate! According to

It is the intention of the church
