“I hail pains in my head, neck and

they were most severe in my left side.
The doctor called it neuralgia and in
digestion'. I was confined to my bed for
eight months. I- was very nervous, had
smothering spells and-could not. sleep. I
xesd of cures by Hood’s Sarsaparilla and

A train consisting of an engine and
three freight cars was wrecked on the
G. j. & S. railroad early Wednesday
morning at Walnut Creek, fourteen
miles from the city. One of the freight
cars, all of which were loaded with
cottonseed, jumped the track, pulling
the other two cars and the engine off
also. The ears were badly damaged
but the engine was only slightly hurt.
Lee Harris, a negro brakeman, was
killed outright, being thrown under,
one of thercars and crushed to death.
The remainder of the crew escaped
without injury. His remains were sent
to Bellmont and interred. The wreck
was cleared in a couple of hours, and
the trains aae running on time again.-
As Receiver Dunlap has had such
phenomenal success with the road, and;
as everything. has moved on so nicely
under his management, there is an
unusual amount of regret occasioned
by the wreck. However, the damage
does not ampnnt to much, and as no
one was to blame for the wreck, is
not so bad.
