Rica, were guests last week of
Mrs. M. E. Ward, and Miss
Grace Morris.
Carrollton and Bowden were
in Douglasville Thursday about
100 strong in the interest of the
Bankhead Highway. They are
putting up a strong fight for the
road.
July 1st is the time set for
Douglasville to get free mail de
livery. The sidewalks must be
put in shape and houses nunjjier-
ed before the inspector come3.
We must get busy or we will not
be able to secure this.

C: "Mr. C. S Foster, superin-
tenbent of the Dallas Hosiery
Mill, of Georgia, was a welcome
caller yesterday with our good
friend, Mr. T. D. Picked. Mr.
Picked, who is superintendent
of the Hosiery Mills at Douglas
ville, Ga., came up Sunday. His
friends were delighted to see
him looking so well. They left
for Peiiadelphia last night to at
tend the convention of Hosiery
Mills, which is in session this
week at that place.”
