is in small bulk, like a hair brush

out upon the floor, and, placing
the article carefully iu the cen¬
ter, neatly fold the edges over
it and tie with a string*, If, on
the other hand, the article is an
English bathtub or an automo¬
bile, you will find it more suited
to one of the New York papers.

Four Big Free Trips to Be Given Away By The
VOTE FOR SOME LADY FRIEND
Every Subscriber is Entitled to Vote. Magnificent
Trips for Four Young Ladies. Who Will They Be?
It affords us much pleasure to announce our Great
Voting Contest this week. The Leader is going to send four
ladies off on delightful Summer trips, two to Havana or
ton, and two to Biloxi, Miss.
We have divided our territory into two districts, District No. 1
shall be Fort Valley and Perry, District No. 2 shall be the balance
of this epunty and the adjoining counties. One young lady from
each of these districts will be given a companion trip. This means
that the young lady receiving the highest vote in each district will
be given a trip for themselves and a companion they may select.
The winner from either district receiving the highest yote has the
choice of the trips. The other will go to Biloxi.
The contest opens June 15th and closes at 9 o’clock sharp July 18th.
In order that all our subscribers may have an interest in this con¬
test, all on onr books at the time of the opening of the contests will
be eutitled to 100 votes by clipping the coupon in this issue, fill it
out in favor of the young lady of your choice and bring or send it to
this office. Now is the time to get in your work, young ladies,
while you can get these coupons. They will give you a start and
then your friends will help you.
Our subscribers choose the candidates; we do not. The minute
a vote is cast for a young lady she becomes a candidate.
The object of this contest is to increase the circulation of The
Leader. Any young lady will be furnished receipt books and bal¬
lots so she may secure new subscriptions and collect for old ones.
Every ballot voted must be signed by a subscriber.
Any young lady over 14 years of age may become a candidate.
Votes must be cast at this office not later than 5 p. m daily.
No subscriptions will he received for less than six months, See

No commissions to post-masters or agents during this contest.
