A bon voyaee luncheon whb h Mrs.
Charles Sciple gave today at the Driv

the sea and extending about eight feet
across the table, was bordered with a
bank of green moss, and on its sur
face rode miniature -• agoing craft. A
model of the Cedric, which will bear
the honor guest ado. th'- ocean in th

miniature bit of deep sea. At the pla< <•

bore sketches of r> nes on the deck
of an ocean liner.
The symbolic details n ere rendered
more beautiful by ti e floral baskets of
red poppse- and S' asta dai.-h whlt-h

green banks around the table.

A DAY FOR ONE YEAR
EAST CLARIDON, OHIO. May 31.
A new world’s record has been estab

It Is needless to say that this won
derful cow was not allowed to lack for
anything she desired in the way of
food and drink during the year. She
is five years old and weighs about
1,606 pounds. Throughout the test she
had ensilage and alfalfa when the nat
ural grass was not at its best. She I
