Hamilton-Beach Company Has Offices Where
It Demonstrates Machines to Large Crowds at Once
Literally Hundreds Throng the Rooms All Day, and
Are Delighted With Results of Free Trial
Treatment.
The large offices of the Hamilton-Beach Company at 7 Walton street
were crowded all day Monday and Tuesday by sufferers who were given free
treatments of “Try New-Life,” the marvelous treatment for all the human dis
orders that come from faulty circulation.
The incoming scores were met at the door by other scores who had been
treated and were going away, and it was interesting to hear the remarks they
passed.
"Come on in and get yours; it’s great,” a departing one would say. "I ve
just had a treatment, and it’s the finest thing I’ve found yet.”
The treated one would go his way smiling, and the prospective patient
would enter with enthusiasm to get relief from whatever ailment happened to
be troubling him.
"Look how straight I can walk,’’ said
one old man as he marched through the
door. “T came in here all doubled up.
Try New-Life’ certainly does the
work.”
The Hamilton-Beach Company has
put a small army of demonstrators —
both men and women —to work to show
the suffering public Just what “Try
New-Life” will do. Women operators in
one room are working with women pa
tients, and men operators in another
room are working with men patients,
and since the office opened May 27 it has
been thronged.
CAN TREAT THEM ALL.
Elaborate preparations have been
made for the comfort of the patrons
who on the opening day thronged the
offices. There are chairs and sofas and
everywhere deft-fingered operators are
all day long applying the machines and
showing how they work. The “Try-
New-Ltfe’’ apparatus is there. The op
erate™ know their business, so that a
thoroughly organised establishment
seems transferred all at once, by some
magic. Into new surroundings. The
management can now treat them all.
Now, what will “Try-New-Life” do?
Pbr one thing, It will give instant re
lief tn rheumatism. No matter whether
It Is inflammatory, sciatica, stiffened
joints or merely sore muscles, the mo
ment th* vibrations begin to thrill
through the suffering nerves and lax
blood vessels there comes a comforting
sense of warmth, the thrill of newly
stimulated nerves and a healthy glow of
the tissues that makes the sufferer most
grateful. Ts you have rheumatism, take
one of the free treatments and be con
vinced.
LUMBAGO SPEEDILY RELIEVED.
Dnmbago. merely another form of
rheumatism which attacks the muscles
of the back. 1s quickly relieved. When
the tingling of the vibrations is felt,
the heavy, steady, down-pulling ache
of the loins is relieved and In a few
minutes the sufferer is smiling.
Perhaps the moot painful disease
known is sciatica, a form of rheuma
tism which attacks the sciatic nerve of.
the thigh. Anything that will relieve
the pain can work wonders. “Try-New-
Life” If you are troubled with sciatica.
Take a free treatment and see for your
self.
Indigestion and constipation, the twin
evils of the digestive tract, are quickly
responsive to the treatment of “Try-
New-Life.” The moment the flow of
blood is stimulated by the little ma
chine the gastric juices begin to work
naturally and the pangs of Indigestion
v are overcome by nature's own forces,
without poisonous drugs or dieting. In
the same manner the muscles of the ab
domen are stimulated to new life, and
by their prompt action the work of
eliminating waste matter is taken up
and constipation is overcome—consti
pation, one of humanity’s worst ene
mies. For whenever- waste matter is
left in the system the delicate blood
vessels lining the lower bowel absorb
the poisons that ought to be east out
and sends them back through the blood
to all parts of the body. The most
delicate organs are fed poison instead
of pure blood for their upbuilding, and
all manner of disturbances follow.

BRINGS SENSE OF COMFORT.
Headache, neuralgia and nervousness
are among the most common ailments
of the women who have come to the
office of the Hamilton-Beach Company
to try one of the free treatments of
“Try-New-Life.” And one and all they
will tell any Inquirer that they have
been given marvelous relief. The
health-giving vibrations along the tem
ples, over the aching face, and over the
great nerve centers of the spine bring
a feeling of calm, a sense of comfort
and a sensible relaxation to the over
strung nerve and tired eyes.
Anyone who is troubled by any of
these things or by any other derange
ment which comes through irritated
nerves or a faulty circulation Is invited
to call at the offices of the Hamilton-
Beach Company, 7 Walton street, and
be given a treatment absolutely without
cost. That is what talks—actual expe
rience of the health-giving powers of
this great invention.
HEADACHE RESPONDS IN A FEW
MINUTES.
Headache and neuralgia can be in
stantly relieved with one single treat
ment of “Try-New-Life.”
For a very severe headache, where
the pain Is tense and Jerking, use soft
sponge applicator No. 3 until partly re
lieved; then use applicator No. 5, mas
saging from the center of the forehead,
stroking down to the back of the neck;
this relieves the congested blood which
is the cause of the headache, and equal
izes the circulation, sending the blood
down into the body where it belongs.
Sometimes it is most beneficial to be
gin treating yourself at the bottom of
the back of the neck, stroking down
ward; this will sometimes relieve head
ache without treating the forehead, even
in three or four minutes Never rub
your head from the back up toward the
front of the head.

7 Walton Street,
Atlanta. Ga.
Gentlemen:
On Oct. 16th. 1911. while crankin" an automobile, 1 had the misfortune (o sustain a compound
fracture of my right arm just above the wrist, arteries and tendons being severed and about two
inches of radius (small bone) being removed, which rendered my hand useless.
In February. I underwent an operation, having a bone taken from my left tibia (shin
bone) and grafted into my arm. connecting up the space left vacant by the removal of bone.
The operation was successful, but the muscles of my hand and arm had become very stiff
and Contracted from lack of use and exercise.
1 hadzmy arm treated a number of weeks with hand massage, which was very beneficial,
but a slow process. I saw your advertisement of “Try-New-Life” and decided to take advan
tage of your offer of free demonstration. After three treatments 1 was able to close my hand
enough to touch the third and fourth fingers with my thumb, which I had never done since
accident. After four short treatments I noticed marked improvement in circulation and flexi
bility of muscles of entire arm.
I consider the results obtained from (he use of your machine in this short lime truly re
markable. and firmly believe lhe continued use of the machine will restore my arm to its former
strength and usefulness.
Thanking you for the courtesies extended. I remain.
Yours very truly. (Signed) 11. T. WELLS.

Finest Athlete in Country Was Once Given

He, Too, Built Up a Strong Body, Could Have Done It
Sooner With “Try-New-Life.”
- ' • T •
Very few people know- that Sandow—the world's strongest man—wai
struck by lightning when he was a boy, and that one side was completely
paralyzed. His entire left side was practically dead, for he could not move it.
Everybody thought that he was a hopeless paralytic, and that the remainder
of his life would be spent in bed.
But Sandow rubbed and massaged his helpless arm with hts right hand,
and finally brought back to It a slight power of motion. This gave him
great hope that he might eventually redeem his whole body, and he went to
work vigorously and rubbed and massaged his w-hole left side with his good
hand, and Anally got so that he could move both arm and leg.
The next move was to sit up in bed
and move both arm and leg as much as
he could and massage them continually.
Then he was soon able to leave his bed
and walk about and use his arm, too.
By constant effort he restored himself
to his former health, and. by keeping up
the exercise and by stimulating the cir
culation with constant massage, he be
came famous all around the world as a
man of Herculean strength.
All the athletic world knows the man
who, at the Madison Square Physical
Culture show In New York city In 1903,
won the prize of SI,OOO for the most
perfectly built body among all the ath
letes gathered there. But very few
know that this same man, now Profes
sor Weinberg, the Gymnastic Instructor
at the Battle Creek. Mich., Sanitarium,
was at the age of 20 given up to die
of consumption.
THE SECRET IN CIRCULATION.
He did not give up. He experiment
ed and found that by massage he could
stimulate his circulation, and he real
ized that on the free and full flow of
pure blood through his veins depended
his life. So, with constant practice, he
built up a strong, robust body from the
puny frame of skin and bones that the
doctors had consigned to an early grave.
In both these cases ft was the health
ful stimulation of the blood vessels and
the constant kneading and massaging
of the muscles which brought health in
stead of disease and death. If either
Sandow or Professor Weinberg had
know.t of "Try-New-Life” he could
have accomplished the same results in
far less time and with far greater ease
and enjoyment. For the application of
“Try-New-Llfe" is a pleasure and in no
sense a task.

cator No. 2, the bell-shaped one, and treat

gin at the neck and pass down to the
base of the. spine. Take at least 15

them. Ise long, slow, soothing strokes,

and in a few minutes you will be sleepy
enough to turn off the current and you
will sleep like a child.
The operator will tell you, when you
are given free treatment and the work
ings of the machine shown to you, that
you may use any applicator which your
judgment tells you is needed. Some
times, when under ordinary circumstances
the hard No 4 would be advised, the mus
cles are too sore to endure it. Then the
soft sponge No. 3 will he found very
grateful. When the circulation has been
partially restored, you will find that No.
1, and finally No. 4. can be use’’ without
discom fort.
In case of rhe deeper and more pene
trating disorders. No. 4 is tlie one to use
as soon as possible, for it lias much more
power, ami will accomplish five times the
results of the soft applicator in the same
time.
Your own judgment will also tell you,
afler a little experience, how long to
make a treatment last. For the more
delicate tissues five-minute treatments,
repeated five or six times a day, are ad
vised. In case of muscular work, half an
hour is usually not too long.
ANY DOCTOR WILL TELL YOU.
1 Ask any doctor and he will tell you
that your health and happiness depend
I on a strong, healthy circulation. He
will agree that you may live a longtime
1 with a sluggish circulation. Likewise
, you may live to be old, with rheuma
tism, headache, tired nerves, backache,
constipation or indigestion—these do
not always kill. But how much better
to have the spring of health in your
step, the glow of life in your eye and
1 cheeks, and the vigor of a strong man
■ or woman in all your doings, than to
exist as a half-invalid and endtur*
pain?
Give a trial to “Try-New-Life" and
, ‘see for yourself whether it is not the
very thing to restore the natural vigor
to your broken nerves and muscles. It
will do the work. A resolute man, by
• years of work such as Professor Wein
; berg or Sandow put In, may work his
w-ay back to health. But the twentieth
century way is quicker less tiresome
and Infinitely more pleasant.
1 DEAFNESS ONE OF HARDEST TO
f TREAT.
1 Deafness Is one of the most stubborn
, cases to treat, because It requires eight
s or ten treatments before you notice re
suits. However, one single treatment
will stop the noise or ringing in the
ear. A remarkable difference can be
noticed after the eighth treatmenL
1 For deafness use soft sponge Appli-
I cator No. 3 entirely; apply to both
ears at least four or five times a day;
• a five-minute treatment to each ear is
much better than a fifteen-minute
i treatment. We advise short treatments
and often. You can also apply Appli
cator No. 1 up and down the spine
■ and around the neck, thoroughly treat
i Ing all the cords in the neck, also
thoroughly treating the back of the ear
—not the ear itself, but right back of
the ear on the head. In a great many
instances results have been accom-
1 pitshed in three or four treatments.
THE CIRCULATION IS RESTORED.
In exactly the same manner the ac
tivities of the liver, kidneys and spleen
are renew’ed, and their circulation re
-1 stored. It soothes, revitalizes and in
’ vigorates these centers of life and takes
away the tendency to headache, feeling
of stuffiness and exhaustion.
Stiff neck—which is rheumatism of
the muscles of the neck—sore throat,
asthma, any of the affections of the
neck, feel instantly the beneficial ef
fects when "Try-New-Life" is given a
trial. Relief from pain, a feeling of
warmth, comfort and the glow of health
; are felt by the sufferer in a moment.
Sore feet, stiff ankles, tender mus
. cles, pain in the instep, will all show
f quick improvement under the magic
, touch of “Try-New-Life.”
1 Scalp troubles are relieved by “Try
’ New-Life." Since dying and falling
, hair are due to lack of healthy circu
lation and nutrition, it follows that
anything that stimulates the circulation
of the scalp and makes the blood carrv
i
more food to the roots of the hair will
help it to grow. “Try-Nott-Life” does
■ this ip a perfectly natural way.
