7. Immature breeding stock.
As a general rule, the mating of a
cock with pullets and a cockerel with
hens is advisable, the idea being that
if one side of the mating Is of well
matured stock the fertility of the eggs
will be stronger.
Many breeders will not use a pullet
in their breeding yards. It has been
proved by experiments that eggs laid
by immature pullets, as a rule, will not
hatch as well or produce as strong
chicks as those laid by a well matured
hen. It is also a general rule that eggs
laid during the natural breeding season
and nesting time will hatch better and
produce stronger chicks than those that,
are produced at other seasons.

hurry.
NEXT WEEK we will begin two more new homes, one on Sixteenth street, the
other on Moreland avenue; will arrange either to suit your own ideas; both loca
tions are fine. Come to see us and get one of them.
TWO GOOD NEGRO LOTS—Can build five houses here; city water, close to car
line, can make the two for $1,100; terms at that. This is a good buy.
WE HAVE 206 feet front with a fair d epth on one of the best streets in Inman
Park, which would make four nice lo ts if filled in and divided, and should sell
for $1,200 each. Buy this today at $2, 000 and make $2,000 profit on it.
