l after them as you would a cow. (live them the
j things most necessary to the production of eggs.
You may have my word for it. yon will get
many more eggs than it has been your custom
to get from the greater number of hens with
less than half the expense for feed.
To gel the best results liens must be fed a
variety as well as an abundance of food. 11
does not pay to feed fowls just enough to keep
them alive. Such a policy is penny wise and
pound foolish. It is no where more noticeable
than in the care of laying hens, ('nil out the
hens that are over two years old and necessar
ily on the decline. True, there are rare excep
tions.

and pullets that the pullets may have a little more feed than
