. Conspiracy Similar to That Which
Resulted in King Manuel's
Overthrow Exposed.
Special Cable to The Atlanta Georgian.
MADRID. April 30.—A conspiracy
in the Portuguese navy, similar to
that which resulted in the overthrow
of King Manuel and the setting up of
a republic in Portugal, was discovered
,No-day, according to a telegram from
Tils bon.
Seven salloro on board the Portu
guese cruiser Sao Gabriel in the Te-
gus Harbor were arrested while try
ing to signal friends on shore, and
later one of them confessed that a
plot existed to turn the navy into the
fiends of the royalists.
* A Government message said that
order had been restored, following
three days of intermittent rioting, but
admitted that the situation still is
critical.
CONDITION CRITICAL
Vapor Treatment Relieved
; Two Year Old Child Threat
ened With Pneumonia.
ATLANTA. GA. —"My little girl,
two years old, had a very deep cold,
threatened with pneumonia t'nder
advice of our physician we used
Vick's Croup and Pneumonia Salve
with entirely satisfactory results.”—
Mrs. G. H. Sy>ears, Curran Sireet.
We investigated and found ii is un
like any other cold or croup cure. It
does away with dosing the stomach
with internal medicines, which are
slow and apt to upset the stomach.
But this remedy is simple. It has only
to be rubbed on the throat and chest
and the heat of the body releases an
tiseptic vapors which are inhaled di
rectly to the affected parts, relieving
the worst colds overnight—croup in
fifteen minutes. It also absorbs
through the skin and takes out ali
soreness.
Doctors are recommending its use
and we find this new external vapor
treatment is for sale at all druggists
in 25c. 50c and $1.00 packages, with a
guarantee to give satisfaction or
money will be returned. No matter
how severe an attack of croup or how-
stubborn the cold this new treatment
affords almost instant relief. Moth
ers should always keep this simple
remedy on hand. It is good for the
whole family.
