The Realty Mortgage Company sold
to a client of the Charles P. Glover
real estate agency to-day the south
west corner of Highland and Green
wood Avenues, three brick stores, for
$15,000, and two 20x90-foot lots ad
joining the stores on Highland Ave
nue for $2,000, and two 80xl02-foot
lots adjoining the stores on Green
wood Avenue for $3,200, making a to
tal in the three parcels of $20,200.
Peachtree Home Demolished.
Workmen began to-day tearing
down 301 Peachtree Street to make
way for business improvements. This
property has had an interesting his
tory in the real estate market. Luther
Z. Rosser bought it several years ago
for $20,000 and the Forrest & George
Adair agency sold it for Mr. Rosser
in the middle of March to J. S. Floyd
for $100,500, or at the rate of $1,605
a front foot.
The frontage is 62 feet on Peach
tree and 74 feet on Ivy Street, and
the depth is 260.5 feet. The Peach
tree dwelling is two stories and has
been used as a boarding house. The
property is on the east side of the
street, half a block north of Baker
Street.
