1. Your petitioners desire for them
selves. their associates, successors and
assigns to be incorporated and made a
body politic for a period of twenty (20»
years, with the privilege of renewal at
the expiration of said time, as provided
by law, under the name and style of
RIVIERA PLANTATION COMPANY.
-• The object of said corporation Is
pecuniary gain to its stockholders.
3. The particular business to be car
ried on by said corporation is the buy
ing. selling, and leasing farm lands and
other real property in Georgia and else
where, and the carrying on of general
farming operations, including the grow
ing of fruit, fruit trees, or any of the
vegetable products of the earth; dealing
generally in all farm products; also, se
curing. buying and selling options on
farm lands and other real estate; buy
ing. selling and trading in purchase
money notes and other evidences of in
debtedness; acting as agent for others
in buying, selling, leasing and renting
farm lands and other real estate; man
aging real estate; and of borrowing
money and giving security therefor.
4. The principal office of said corpora
tion shall 1 be in Fulton County, Georgia,
but petitioners desire that said corpo
ration have the right to establish branch
offices at other places in Georgia, and
elsewhere, and the right to do business
in such places as may be deemed to the
interest of said company.
5. The capital stock of said corpora
tion is to be five thousand .($5,000) dol
lars. divided into shares of one hundred
($ 100 > dollars each, with the privilege
of increasing said stock to any amount
up to twenty-flve thousand ($26,000) dol
lars upon a majority vote of the stock
holders of said corporation. Ten per
cent of the minimum capital stock tP
be paid in before commencing business,
a majority of the stock of said corpora
tion may. by the vote of the hoMers ol
a majortiy of the stock of said corpora
tion. at any time outstanding. cease to
do business, liquidate its affairs, dis
tribute its assets and surrender its
charter.
Wherefore, having complied with the
law as to filing and publication, peti
tioners pray for an order incorporating
them, their associates and successors
under the name and style aforesaid,
with the rights, powers and privileges
as herein set forth, or as they now are,
or may hereafter be conferred by the
