Miss Irene Dempsey, daughter of C.
J. Dempeey, former representative In
the legislature from Butts county, died
Sunday night at a private sanitarium
from the effects of an operation for
appendicitis. She la survived by a
father, mother, titter and two broth
ers. The remains will be taken to
Jackson for Interment Tuesday morn
ing.

of heart disease at her residence, II

night Funeral services were con
ducted at the residence, at ( o'clock
Sunday evening, and the body taken

Mra. Bridget Clair, II years old, died
at her residence; 104 North Boulevard,
at 11 o'clock Sunday morning of apo
plexy. Funeral services were con
ducted at Sacred Heart church Mon
day morning at 10 o'clock, and Inter
ment was at Weetvlew.

Helen Elanar, seven years old, died
