Advices from Washington, D. C.,
state that Miss’Flora Wilson, daugh
ter of Secretary of Agriculture Wil
son, and, by reason of the fact that
he Is a widower, head of the household,
Is reported to have determined to go
upon the concert stage. The brilliant
daughter of Secretary Wilson has been
abroad for the past year studying
music nnd voice cultivation In Paris.
She Is the possessor of a voice of rare
quullty, which lias been cultivated by a
Parisian master.
It Is said that Secretary Wilson has
voiced n strong opposition to his
daughter's desire, nnd that to placate
him she lias decided to make a trip
around the world, visiting places far
off the beaten track In tho Far Hast.
This tour will consume two years, nnd
her friends now state lliat at lis ex
piration she will appear upon the con
cert stage.

Lieutenant Commander Thomas F. Ruhm, U. S. N., spn of Colonel and
Mrs, John R. Ruhm, of Nashville, will be married In Seattle, Wash., Novem
ber 20, to Miss Edana Collins. The groom Is stationed In Seattle as super
intendent constructor of the Nebraska, a battleship of the first class, which

Christian Church Sunday school were
charmingly entertained Tuesday even
ing from S to 10 o'clock, by Mr. and
Mrs. F. M. Robinson, at their home,
172 Forrest aveune. About one hun
dred guests were present. R was an
occasion of especial Interest, as the
pretty home of Afr. and Mrs. Robinson

their guests. The evening was brought
to a close by a delightful trolley ride
to Ponce DeLeon, Grant Park and out
points of Interest in the city,

AT WESTMINSTER CHURCH
The new pipe organ has been In
stalled In Westminster Church, at the
corner of Forrest avenue and the
Boulevard, which was purchased by

used for the first time on Sunday,
