NEGRO WOMAN ARRESTED
FOR RUNNING “TIGER."

Oxford, Go., Sept. 16.—Yesterday af.

that a negro woman named Mary
Mitchell was Munpocted of running a
blind tiger at her house In Oxford.
Officer T. W. Skelton, ot Cdvlngton;
Bailiff J. E. Blackstock and J. EL Dor
sey, of Oxford, Immediately made a
thorough search of the house and
promises, v-hlch resulted In the arrest
of the woman and two negro men, who
were caught coming from the house
with whisky ** ‘
number of empty Domes and beer Kegs
were found In the house, but as yet the
hiding place of the liquor has not been
discovered. Two warrants, with bonds
of $100 each, were issued Against the
woman, which sho failed to secure.
