Washington, Dec. II.—Commander R.
M. G. Brown. U.J3. N., retired, one of
the best known and most popular naval
offleers residing In this city, died at
9: SO o'clock an yesterday at Oarfleld
hospital, after a lingering Illness.
He had been a resident at Stonelelgh
Court for some time with Mrs. Brown,
who Is a daughter of former Senator
Henry O. Davis, of West Virginia, and
had been In poor health for a year or
more.
